Veg mayonnaise



INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup sun flower oil
  • ½ cup full cream milk, chilled
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • salt to taste
  • ½ tsp mustard powder / mustard sauce
  • ½ tsp pepper, crushed
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vinegar

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. firstly, in a large mixing bowl take 1 cup of oil.
  2. add the full cream milk. use  cold milk to get thick and creamy mayo.
  3. also add sugar, salt, mustard powder and pepper.
  4. additionally, add lemon juice and vinegar. this acts as preservative and helps to store mayo for longer time.
  5. now blend with a hand blender till the milk and oil combines.
  6. after 7-8 minutes the mixture turns thick and creamy mayonnaise.
  7. finally, eggless mayonnaise can be stored atleast for a week when refrigerated.
