French toast
Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 2 eggs
- 20 ml of vegetable oil
- 30 ml of low-fat milk
- pinch of salt if desired
- pepper
Method
- Beat egg, milk, pepper and salt together in a shallow bowl.
- Dip the slices of bread in the egg mixture.
- Fry in hot oil until they are golden brown.
- Drain on kitchen paper.
Serve with fruit
